Chap. 682.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 9 of an act approved
January 27, 1888, entitled an act to incorporate the town of Courtland, in
the county ‘of Southampton.

Approved March 2, 1900.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
vine of an act approved January twenty-seventh, eighteen hundred and
ighty-eight, entitled an act to incorporate the town of Courtland, in
she county of Southampton, be amended and re-enacted so as to read
1s follows: .

$9. An election of mayor and all other town officers shall be helc
yn the first Tuesday in December, nineteen hundred, and every twe
years thereafter.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
