Chap. 615.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 1 of an act approved
January 29, 1898, entitled an act to declare the Conway river a lawful
fence between the counties of Greene and Madison.
Approved March 65, 1900.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
one of an act approved January twenty-ninth, eighteen hundred and
ninety-eight, declaring the Conway river a lawful fence between the
counties of Greene and Madison from the Pocosin creek to where said
river empties into the Rapid Ann, be amended and re-enacted so as to
read as follows:
$1. That the Conway river be, and is hereby, declared a lawful fence
between the counties of Greene and Madison from Fitzbrough’s upper
water-rack or line on said river to where said river empties into the
Rape Ann.
All acts or parts of acts in conflict with the foregoing section are
hereby repealed.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
