Chap. 604.—An ACT for the relief of Benjamin T. Gunter, junior, of Accomac
county.

Whereas by an agreement between the governor of Virginia and the
governor of Maryland a survey was ordered of the line between the
two states as it crosses Tangier and Pocomoke sounds in the year eigh-
teen hundred and ninety-seven; and
Whereas Benjamin T. Gunter, junior, of Accomac county, was ap-
pointed by Governor 0’Ferrall as commissioner representing the inter-
ests of Virginia in said survey; and
Whereas no appropriation has ever been made for the pavment of
said Benjamin T. Gunter, junior, for his services as aforesaid; there-
fore, |
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
auditor of public accounts be, and he is hereby, authorized to draw a
warrant upon the treasurer in favor of the said Benjamin T. Gunter,
junior, for the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars, to be paid out of
any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
2. This act shall be in full force from its passage.
