Chap. 56.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 6 of an act entitled an
act to incorporate the united land and investment company, approved
February 10, 1896.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section

six of an act entitled an act to incorporate the united land and invest-
ment company, approved February tenth, eighteen hundred and ninety-
six, be, and the same is hereby, amended and re-enacted so as to read
as follows:
' §6. The board of directors may establish offices and agencies at such
places as they may deem proper, but the principal office of the corpora-
tion shall be located in the city of Roanoke, Virginia, or at such other
point mn the state of Virginia as the stockholders may from time to time
establish.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
