Chap. 547.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act approved March 3, 1898,
entitled an act to prevent shooting or killing game at night in the counties
of Charles City, Prince George, Henrico, and James City.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
one of an act approved March third, eighteen hundred and ninety-eight,
entitled an act to prevent shooting or killing game at night in the
counties of Charles City, Prince George, Henrico, and James City, be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§ 1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
be unlawful in the counties of Charles City, Prince George, Henrico,
and James City to shoot at or kill ducks, geese, turkeys, muskrats, or
any other game between sunset and sunrise: provided, that nothing in
this act shall apply to the bird called “sora.”
