Chap. 507.—An ACT to allow B. L. Farinholt to enlarge the area of the pier-
head to his wharf at Monaskon, on the Rappahannock river.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That B. L.
Farinholt, of the county of Lancaster, be authorized to extend and
increase the area of the pier-head to his wharf at Monaskon, on the
Rappahannock river, four hundred feet (£00) by two hundred feet (200),
at his discretion, for the purpose of shipping and handling oysters
and produce for himself and others, and may charge for the use of
the same such sum as the county of Lancaster may allow: provided,
the same will not interfere with navigation in said river, and be subject
to all the laws of the state governing wharves and piers erected in the
waters of the commonwealth: and provided further, that this privilege
granted shall at all times be under the control of the general assembly,
and amended or repealed as may be deemed proper.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
