Chap. 497.—An ACT to authorize and empower the board of supervisors of
Pulaski county to increase the levy in the school districts of Dublin, New-
bern, and Pulaski, im said county, for school purposes.

In effect February 22, 1900.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the board
of supervisors of Pulaski county be, and they are hereby, authorized
to increase the levy in the districts of Dublin, Newbern, and Pulaski, in
said county, for school purposes, to be used in paying for the services
of teachers in the public schools in said districts: provided, that the
maximum levy therefor shall not exceed in either of said districts the
sum of fifteen cents on the one hundred dollars of assessed value of
taxable property therein.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
