Chap. 493.—An ACT to allow E. W. Sims, treasurer of Greene county, further
time within which to distrain, levy, and collect certain tax tickets for which
he has accounted to the state.
Approved February 21, 1900.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That E. W.
Sims, treasurer of Greene county, be, and he is hereby, allowed two
years from the passage of this act in which to distrain and levy for and
collect any uncollected tax tickets and levies in his hands not returned
delinquent or insolvent, and for which he has heretofore accounted to
the state and county, for the years eighteen hundred and ninety-five,
eighteen hundred and ninety-six, and eighteen hundred and ninety-seven
and ninety-eight.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
