Chap. 452.—An ACT in relation to judgments, &c., in Appomattox county.
Approved February 20, 1900.
Whereas the court-house and clerk’s office of Appomattox county
was destroyed by fire on the first day of February, eighteen hundred and
ninety-two, together with all of the records of said county; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That all judg-
ments and other liens, which were of record in said clerk’s office at the
time of said fire, and which shall not have been recorded again prior
to or yithin twelve months from the passage of this act, shall be forever
barred.
2. This act shall, immediately after its passage, be published, in full,
in four issues of the Appomattox and Buckingham Times, and the charge
therefor paid by the board of supervisors of said county.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
