Chap. 431.—An ACT to allow W. J. Woods, ex-treasurer of Giles county, and
all of his deputies, further time for collecting taxes in Giles county.
Approved February 20, 1900.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That W. J.
Woods, ex-treasurer of Giles’ county, and all of his deputies, be allowed
one year from the passage of this act in which to distrain, levy for,
and collect uncollected taxes and levies in his or his collector’s hands
for the years eighteen hundred and ninety-four, eighteen hundred and
ninety-five, eighteen hundred and _ ninety-six, eiahtcen hundred and
ninety-seven, and eighteen hundred and ninety- eight, not returned
delinquent or insolv ent, and for which he has accounted to the state
and county.
This act shall be in force from its passage.
