Chap. 348.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Rockingham
county, in their discretion, to levy a tax, not exceeding fifteen cents on the
one hundred dollars’ taxable values in any of the magisterial districts of
said county, for district school purposes.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the board
- supervisors of Rockingham county are hereby empowered and author-

ized, if, in their discretion, the school interests of any district demand,
to increase the levy for district school purposes in any such magisterial
district in the county to a rate not exceeding fifteen cents on ‘the one
hundred dollars of taxable values in said district, the proceeds of said
levy to be used for public free school purposes as district funds are
now used in said county.

2. This act shall be in foree from its passage.
