Chap. 292.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2 of an act e
to provide for working and keeping in repair the public road:

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, ‘
two of chapter one hundred and fourteen of the acts of
assembly of eighteen hundred and ninety-seven and nine
titled an act to provide for working and keeping in repai
roads and bridges of the county of Goochland, approved Jan
sixth, eighteen hundred and ninety-eight, be amended an
so as to read as follows:

§ 2. The members of the board of supervisors for each
district in said county shall be ex officio road commissi
district, and he shall receive for such service the compensat
in section nine hundred and seventy-three of the code of
eighteen hundred and eighty-seven.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
