Chap. 283.—An ACT allowing the treasurer of Amherst county further time
to collect taxes for the years 1895, 1896, and 1897.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That Houston
C. Joyner, the treasurer of Amherst county, be allowed the further time
of one year from the passage of this act within which to levy and collect
any uncollected taxes in his hands not returned delinquent, for which
the said treasurer has accounted to the auditor and the authorities of
said county for the years eighteen hundred and ninety-five, eighteen
hundred and ninety-six, and eighteen hundred and ninety-seven.
