Chap. 250.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 3 of an act approved
February 24, 1888, entitled an act to amend the charter of the city of Rich-
mond, by adding additional sections to chapter 4, concerning city officers,
so as to provide for the appointment of a board of public interests.

Approved February 3, 1900.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
three of an act approved February twenty-four, eighteen hundred and
eighty-eight, entitled an act to amend the charter of the city of Rich-
mond, by adding additional sections to chapter four, concerning city
oflicers, so as to provide for the appointment of a board of public in-
terests, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

§ 3. There shall be a meeting of this board whenever called by the
chairman on his own motion, when he deems a meeting necessary, or
whenever three members of the board, in writing, shall request him to
call a meeting of the same.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
