Chap. 246.—An ACT to authorize the Southside railway and development
company to change its corporate name.

1. Be it enacted bv the general assembly of Virginia, That upon the
application of the southside railway and development company, it shall
he lawful for the hustings court for the city where the principal office
of said company is kept, to authorize said company to change its corpo-

rate name, and to be known by such corporate name as the stockholders

of said company in general meeting assembled may adopt, and all the
provisions, powers, privileges, and duties conferred and imposed by
an act entitled an act to incorporate the southside railway and develop.
ment company, approved March third, eighteen hundred and ninety-
eight, shall be continued and confirmed to the said corporation under
the corporate name so changed and adopted.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
