Chap. 192.—An ACT for the relief of A. W. Talley by repaying to him the
amount of a tax twice paid.

Whereas through error, state taxes were twice exacted on certain
property in the hands of said receiver for the years eighteen hundred and
ninety-two (three dollars and sixty cents), and eighteen hundred and
nincty-three (three dollars and sixty cents), as shown by duplicate re-
ceipts and certificates herewith; therefore,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the auditor
of the state is hereby authorized and directed to draw his warrant in
favor of the said Allen W. ‘Talley, receiver, in the sum of seven and
twenty one-hundred dollars ($7. 20), to repay these erroneously collected
state taxes, as above stated.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
