1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virgima, That a
missioner in chancery of any court in this commonwealth to whon
been referred any account or other matter may, if it shall appe
him necessary, adjourn such proceedings from his own county or
poration to any other county or corporation, and there continue
proceeding and take depositions and other evidence in like manner
and with like force and effect as if the same were done in his own county
or corporation. And such commissioner shall have the power to compel
the attendance of witnesses before him in the manner prescribed by
the act of the general assembly of Virginia, approved February twelfth,
eighteen hundred and ninety-four, entitled an act to enable commis-
sloners in chancery to compel the attendance of witnesses before them.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
