Chap. 1469.—An ACT for the relief of Mrs. Abram Altic.
Approved March 7, 1900.
Whereas Abram Altic was a faithful soldier in the late war from
the county of Franklin, serving in the Confederate army; and
Whereas at his death he was drawing a small pension for wounds re-
ceived in service; and
Whereas he has left a widow who is old and feeble, without property,
and unable to support herself; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
county court for the county of Franklin shall inquire into this case,
and if it ascertains and certifies that the foregoing recitals are facts,
and this is a deserving case for a pension, then the auditor of public
accounts is directed to place the name of Mistress Temperance Altic,
the widow of the above soldier on the pension roll to draw a pension
of fifteen dollars a year.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
