Chap. 1460.—An ACT for the relief of S. M. Hobson, a Confederate soldier.

Whereas S. M. Hobson, of Henry county, Virginia, was a true and
loyal soldier of the state of Virginia in the military service of the
Confederate states, and is in broken health and unable to support him-
self by manual labor; has no property of any material value and badly
needs some assistance; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That upon
proof of the foregoing facts before the county court of Henry county
and certificate of the same to the auditor of public accounts, the said
auditor shall place the name of the said Hobson upon the. pension
roll, and there shall be paid thereafter annually out of the treasury
the sum of fifteen dollars to the said Hobson.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
