Chap. 1446.—An ACT for the relief of J. F. Huddleston, a Confederate soldier.

Whereas J. F. Huddleston, a Confederate soldier of Bedford county
in the war between the states, was wounded twice while serving in said
war, and has since become so much disabled by reason of said wounds
that he is almost totally disabled from performing manual labor; there-
fore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
auditor of public accounts be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed
to place the name of J. F. Huddleston on the pension rolls of disabled
Confederate soldiers, and to issue his warrant annually for the sum of
fifteen dollars in favor of the said J. F. Huddleston for the same, upon
proof of the above-named allegations before the county court of Bed-
ford, and when a certificate of the same be sent to auditor of public
accounts.
2. This act shall be in force on and after the first day of April, nine-
teen hundred.
