Chap. 1422.—An ACT for the relief of William B. Cundiff, a Confederate
soldier.

Whereas William B Cundiff, of company B, fourteenth Virginia reg-
iment, in the late war between the states, was wounded, and by reason
of that wound was permanently disabled from performing manual
labor; and
Whereas the said William B. Cundiff is now incapacitated to perform
sufficient labor of any character to make a support; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the au-
ditor of public accounts be, and he is herebv, authorized and directed to
place the name of William B. Cundiff on the pension rolls of Confed-
erate soldiers, for the sum of fifteen dollars annually, payable out of
any money not otherwise appropriated: provided, the above-named
allegations be proved before the court of Bedford, and a certificate of
same be sent to the auditor of public accounts.
2. This act shall be in force on and after the first day of April, nine-
teen hundred. ,
