Chap. 1402.—An ACT for the relief of James Prilliman, a blind Confederate
soldier.
Approved March 7, 1900,
Whereas James Prilliman, of Henry county, was a loyal soldier of
Virginia in the military service of the Confederate states, of company
B, fifty-seventh Virginia infantry; and
Whereas the said James Prilliman is aged, blind, helpless, and poor;
therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That upon
proof of the foregoing facts before the county court of Henry county,
and certificate of the same to the auditor of public accounts, said auditor
shall place the name of the said James Prilliman upon the pension roll
and there shall be paid annually thereafter out of the treasury upon the
warrant of said auditor to the said James Prilliman, the sum of fifteen
dollars.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
