Chap. 1366.—An ACT for the relief of Lucy Robinson, the widow of a Confec
erate soldier. :
Approved March 7, 1900.
Whereas William H. Robinson, of the county of Rockingham, was
true and loyal soldier and received wounds while in the service of th
Confederate states, who has since died; and
Whereas Lucy Robinson, the widow of said William H. Robinson,
deceased, a resident of the county of Rockingham in the state of
Virginia, is in very destitute circumstances with no income whatever;
therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That upon
proof of the alleged facts before the county court of Rockingham county
the auditor of public accounts is directed to pay to her, the said Lucy
Robinson, the sum of fifteen dollars annually out of any money in the
treasury not otherwise appropriated.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
