Chap. 1352.—An ACT for the relief of N. A. Green, a Confederate soldier.

Whereas N. A. Green was a gallant soldier in the Confederate service
in the civil war, serving in company F, thirty-fourth Virginia infantry,
Wise’s brigade, Johnson’s division, and was wounded in “eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-four in the battle around Petersburg, from which wound
he now suffers, and is now seventv-eight vears old, unable to work and
has no property, and is in destitute circumstances; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia. That the
auditor of public accounts be hereby authorized to place the name of
the said N. A. Green on the pensicn rolls of Virginia: provided that the
facts herein alleeed shall be proven satisfactorv to the county court
of Halifax county of which county the said N. A. Green is a resident
and he shall receive a pension of fifteen dollars per annum.
This act shall be in force from its passage.
