Chap. 1350.—An ACT for the relief of Robert N. Hite, of Petersburg, Virginia.

Whereas Robert N. Hite was wounded by a cannon shot at the battle
of Chancellorsville, May third, eighteen hundred and sixty-three, and
his left arm was so disabled by said wound as to permanently deprive
him of the mechanical use of that member of his body—
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
auditor of public accounts be, and is hereby, directed to pay to the
said Robert N. Hite a pension of fifteen dollars upon proof of the
alleged facts before the hustings court of Petersburg.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
