Chap. 1346.—An ACT for the relief of John F. Gauldin, a Confederate soldier
Approved March 7, 1900.
Whereas John F. Gauldin, of Henry county, Virginia, was a tru
and loyal soldier of Virginia in the military service of the Confederat
states, and is impaired in health from injuries received and exposur
sustained during the war, and is unable to support himself by manua
labor and is poor and needy; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That upo!
further proof of the foregoing facts before the county court of Henr
county and certificate of the same to the auditor of public accounts,
the said auditor shall place the name of the said Gauldin upon the
pension roll, and there shall be paid annually to the said Gauldin out
of the treasury, upon the warrant of the auditor of public accounts the
sum of fifteen dollars.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
