Chap. 1345.—An ACT to relieve Mr. Willis Cash, a Confederate soldier.
Approved March 7, 1900.
Whereas Willis Cash was a true and gallant Confederate soldier of
company , forty-ninth Virginia regiment; and
Whereas he is now suffering from the following disability—to wit:
Suffering from flesh wounds and is so feeble from old age that he is
totally disabled from performing manual labor, and the county has tc
help him each month as outside poor; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
county court of Amherst shall examine into the condition of the above.
named Willis Cash, and should it be true that the above statement i:
correct and the county court of Amherst should send a certificate ot
the facts to the auditor of public accounts of Virginia, then the audito:
of public accounts is directed to place the name of Willis Cash upor
the pension roll and pay him annually the sum of fifteen dollars pe:
year on and after April first, nineteen hundred.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
