Chap. 1326.—An ACT to place Charles J. Brown, of Loudoun county, a
wounded Confederate soldier, on the pension roll.
Approved March 7, 1900.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That Charles
J. Brown, of Loudoun county, Virginia, shall, on account of old age,
and disabilities and injuries received while serving in the Confederate
army, be placed on the pension list of the state of Virginia, commencing
January first, nineteen hundred, and the auditor of public accounts is
directed to pay him annually the sum of fifteen dollars out of any
money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated: provided, the above
facts be proven before the county court and the court shall forward
its certificate of the foregoing facts, if proven before it, to the auditor
of the state.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
