Chap. 1322.—An ACT for the relief of Alexander Cornell, a Confederate
soldier.
Approved March 7, 1900.
Whereas Alexander Cornell, a Confederate soldier, who enlisted in
ighteen hundred and sixty-one, and remained in the service of the
Yonfederate cause until the close of the war between the states; and
Whereas he is now old and in destitute circumstances; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
uditor of public accounts enter the name of Alexander Cornell on the
vension list as entitled to receive fifteen dollars per annum: provided,
hat the said Alexander Cornell shall establish the above facts before
he county court of Loudoun county, and file the same with the auditor
yf public accounts.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
