Chap. 1317.—An ACT for the relfef of William Durnil, a disabled Confederate
soldier.

Whereas Wiliam Durnil, a disabled Confederate soldier of company
, twenty-ninth regiment of Virginia, was a true and gallant soldier
uring the late war between the states; was loyal to Virginia; and
Whereas he is now suffering from the following disabilities—to wit:
Paralysis and chronic diarrhoea; and that he is in destitute circum-
ances, owns no property, and has no income; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
uditor of public accounts be, and he is hereby, directed to place the
ame of William Durnil on the pension list for a pension of fifteen
ollars per annum: provided, the facts herein alleged be proven before
he county court of Carroll, and by said court certified to the auditor
f public accounts of Virginia.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
