Chap. 130.—An ACT to grant to C. W. Powers, late treasurer of Dickenson
county, further time to make sale of delinquent lands.

Whereas C. W. Powers, late treasurer of Dickenson county, did not
receive the list of real estate delinquent for the non-payment of taxes
and levies thereon for the vear eighteen hundred and ninety-eicht, in
time to advertise and make sale of such real estate at either the Novem-
ber or the December court, eighteen hundred and ninety-nine, as re-
quired by chapter twenty-eight of the code of Virginia; therefore
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That C. W.
Powers, late treasurer of Dickenson county, be, and he is hereby.
authorized, empowered and directed to advertise the list of real estate
returned delinquent for the non-payment of taxes and levies thereon
for the year eighteen hundred and ninety-eight, and sell the same at the
March or April term of the county court, nineteen hundred.
The said advertisement sales and report of sales shall in other respects
conform to the provisions of chapter twenty-eight of the code of Vir-
ginia, edition eighteen hundred and eighty-seven.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
