Chap. 1289.—An ACT for the relief of Mrs. Emma R. Guy, a widow of a
Confederate soldier.
Approved March 7, 1900.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That auditor
of public accounts be, and he is hereby, directed to place the name
of Emma R. Guy, of the county of Campbell, upon the pension roll,
provided by the laws of this state, she being the widow of Samuel R.
quy, a true and gallant Confederate soldier, who died in the vear
eighteen hundred and ninetv-one, leaving a widow and infant children
in indigent circumstances. who still remains unmarried, and that she
be paid the sum of fifteen dollars per annum: provided, the facts herein
stated shall first be proven before the county court of Campbell county,
and by said court certified to the auditor of public accounts.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
