Chap. 1265.—An ACT to place Washington O'Meara, of Loudoun county, a
wounded Confederate soldier, on the pension rolls of the state.
Approved March 7, 1900.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That Washing-
ton O'Meara, of Loudoun county, Virginia, shall, on account of old
ave and disabilities and injuries received while serving in the Confede-
rate army, be placed on the pension list of the state of Virginia, com-
mencing January first, nineteen hundred, and the auditor of public
accounts is directed to pay him annually the sum of fifteen dollars out
of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated: provided, the
above facts be proved before the county court and the judge of said
court shall certifv the facts (if proven) to the auditor.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
