Chap. 1259.—An ACT for the relief of Mac Lee, a disabled Confederate soldier,
of Russell county.

Whereas Mac Lee, of Russell county, Virginia, was a gallant and
loval Confederate soldier from said county, and is incapacitated from
a wound received in the army and in the line of his duty, and from
old age, poverty, and decrepitude from making a support by manual
labor; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That upon
proof of the foregoing facts before the county court of Russell county.
and a certificate of the same to the auditor, he shall place the name
of the said Mac Lee upon the pension roll of the state and pay him
annuallv the sum of fifteen dollars.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
