Chap. 125.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act approved February 19
1880, entitled an act to amend an act approved February 3, 1871, entitle
an act to authorize the city of Portsmouih to lease out the ends of certail

streets.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That sectior
one of an act approved February nineteenth, eighteen hundred anc
eighty, entitled an act to amend an act approved February third, eigh:
teen hundred and seventy-one, entitled an act to authorize the city
of Portsmouth to lease out the ends of certain streets, be amended anc
re-enacted so as to read as follows:

S$ 1. Be it enacted by the gener ral assembly of Virginia, That it shal!
be "axe ful for the council of the city of Portsmouth ‘to lease out, for
term of years, to private parties or corporations the ends of the street:
running to the Elizabeth river, save the end of Lincoln street which is
hereby excepted.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
