Chap. 1244.—An ACT for the relief of Isaiah Haynes.

Approved March 7, 19vv.

Whereas Isaiah Havnes, a citizen of Franklin county, while serving
in the late war between the states, in the Confederate army, was
wounded in battle in the lez; and

Whereas this wound has seriously and erievously impaired his ability
to make his support by manual labor; and

Whereas he is poor and needy; now, therefore,

1. Be it enacted bv the general assembly of Virginia. That the
auditor of public accounts is hereby directed to list the said Haynes
to receive an annual pension as 42 disabled soldier, of fifteen dollars per
vear, upon proof of above facts before county court of Franklin.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
