Approved March 7, 1900.
Whereas A. J. Dunn was a Confederate soldier of company H,
thirtieth regiment of Virginia infantry, was a true and gallant soldier
during the war; was loyal to Virginia; and
Whereas the same A. J. Dunn was very badly ruptured during the

able to perform manual labor, and he is poor and in needy circum-
stances; therefore,

county court of Caroline shall examine into the condition of the said

and that he is now old and afflicted, that he is needy and poor and
should receive aid from Virginia, and if the county court of Caroline
should certify the above as facts to the auditor of public accounts of
Virginia, then the auditor of public accounts is directed to place the
name of A. J. Dunn on the pension list, and pay him annually the sum
of fifteen dollars, on and after April first, nineteen hundred.
