Chap. 1235.—An ACT for the relief of M. A. Beazley, Caroline county.
Approved March 7, 1900.
Whereas M. A. Beazley, a disabled soldier of Virginia, was a brave
and faithful soldier and loyal to Virginia; and
Whereas he is now suffering from the following disability—to wit:
Constitution broken down from services rendered during said war by
being overcome by fatigue during a long march; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the county
court of Caroline county shall examine into the condition of the above-
named M. A. Beazley, and should it be that he was true and loyal to
Virginia throughout the war, and that he is now afflicted and incapaci-
tated for manual labor, and that his constitution was broken down from
services In the war, and that he is in destitute circumstances and should,
in the opinion of the judge of the county court of Caroline county,
receive ald from Virginia, then said county court of Caroline county is
hereby directed to forward a certificate of the foregoing facts to the
auditor of public accounts of Virginia, who is hereby directed to place
said M. A. Beazley on the pension list upon the basis ef fifteen dollars
per annum, on and after April first, nineteen hundred.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
