Chap. 1233.—An ACT for the relief of William Brown, a Confederate soldier,
of Rockingham county, Virginia.

Whereas William Brown, of Rockingham county, who was an honor-
able and faithful Confederate soldier in company G, tenth Virginia
infantry regiment, who is old, infirm, nearly blind, and in needy cir-
cumstances, which should entitle him to a pension; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That upon proof
of the alleged facts before the county court of Rockingham, the auditor
of public accounts is directed to pay him annually the sum of fifteen
dollars out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
