Chap. 1215.—An ACT for the relief of W. L. Foster, of Campbell county, a
' wounded ex-Confederate soldier.

Whereas W. L. Foster was a gallant Confederate soldier, and a
member of company E, eleventh Virginia regiment, infantry, and was
badly wounded, causing loss of one eye, and other serious results; and
Whereas he has been true and loyal to the state, and is now needy,
old, and feeble; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That upon
proof of these facts before the county court of Campbell, and the
certification by the judge of said court of these facts as proven to the
state auditor, then the said auditor be, and is herebv, directed to place
the name of W. L. Foster upon the pension rolls of this state, and pay
to him annually the sum of fifteen dollars on and after April first, nine-
teen hundred.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
