Chap. 1213.—An ACT for the relief of J. R. Dixon, a Confederate soldier.

Whereas J. R. Dixon, who was a loval, faithful, and true Confederate
soldier, is now disabled for manual labor, and is poor and in indigent
circumstances, without the means of support; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That if said
Dixon shall prove the said facts before the hustings court of the city
of Richmond, and the said court shall certify said facts to the
auditor of public accounts, then the auditor shall place said Dixon on
the pension list for a pension of fifteen dollars per year.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
