Chap. 1208.—An ACT for the relief of Samuel Robinson.

Whereas Samuel Robinson, a true and gallant soldier in the military
service of the Confederate states, and who was wounded, and is now
suffering from said wounds, and which, together with the infirmities
of age and disease, renders him wholly unable to perform manual labo1
of any kind, and by reason of his disabilities is very poor and destitute
of the comforts of life; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That upon
proof before the county court of Shenandoah county of the foregoing
facts, and a certificate of the same by said court to the auditor of public
accounts, the said auditor shall place the name of the said Samuel
Robinson upon the pension rolls, and there shall then be paid to the
said Samuel Robinson annually the sum of fifteen dollars out of the
treasury of the state, upon the warrant of the auditor of public accounts,
on and after April first, nineteen hundred.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
