Chap. 1194.—An ACT for the relief of A. D. Walker, a disabled Confederat:
soldier.

Whereas A. D. Walker, of Culpeper county, was badly wounded in ths
arm and leg by a musket ball in the late war, and by reason thereof i:
totally disabled for work or labor of any kind to a great extent, and i:
in poor and needy circumstances; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That if A. D
Walker produces satisfactory evidence to the county court of Culpeper
county as to his condition as above stated, he is hereby authorized tc
apply for a pension, which, if granted by the said court, shall be certified
to the auditor of public accounts, then the said auditor is hereby directed
to place the name of A. D. Walker on the pension list with those
receiving pensions for partial disability, and pay him fifteen dollars per
year, from the first day of April, nineteen hundred.
This act shall be in force from its passage.
