Chap. 1152.—An ACT for the relief of W. L. Driskell, a Confederate soldier.

Whereas W. L. Driskell, of Prince Edward county, was a true and
loval soldier of Virginia in the military service of the Confederate states,
and is now broken in health and disabled in consequence of such ser-
vice, and is seventy-five years of age, and without means to obtain a
livelihood; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That upon proof
of the foregoing facts before the county court of Prince Edward county
and a certificate of the same to the auditor of public accounts, said
auditor of public accounts shall place the name of W. L. Driskell upon
the pension roll, and there shall be paid to said Driskell out of the
treasury annually upon the warrant of said auditor a pension of fifteen
dollars.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
