Chap. 115.—An ACT to authorize the Low Moor iron company of Virginia
to construct and use a railway to cross the county roads on Jackson's river
and Pott’s creek, in Alleghany county.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the Low
oor Iron company of Virginia be, and it is hereby, authorized to lay and
se the track of a railroad to be operated by steam or any other power
ross the public roads on and near Jackson’s river and Pott’s creek,
. Alleghany county, which railroad, it is expected, will be constructed
id operated from the blast furnace at Covington, Virginia, down Jack-
yn’s river and up Pott’s creek in the said county, upon such terms as
ay be prescribed by the board of supervisors of Alleghany county.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
