Chap. 1130.—An ACT for the relief of S. H. Minter, J. H. Gilbert, J. N. Walker,
and James L. Ingram, wounded and needy Confederate soldiers.
Approved March 7, 1900.
Whereas 8S. H. Minter, J. H. Gilbert, J. N. Walker, and James L.
Ingram, of Henry county, were true and loyal soldiers of Virginia in
the military service of the Confederate states; and
Whereas said soldiers are suffering from the effects of wounds re-
ceived, disease contracted, and exposure sustained during the war, and
are aged and poor and needy and unable to make a livelihood by manual
labor, and have no property of material value; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That upon
proof of the foregoing facts before the county court of Henry county,
and certificate of the same to the auditor of public accounts, the said
auditor shall place the names of the said S. H. Minter,.J. H. Gilbert,
J. N. Walker, and James L. Ingram upon the pension roll, and there
shall be paid to each of said persons annually out of the treasury,
upon the warrant of the auditor of public accounts, the sum of fifteen
dollars.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
