Chap. 1120.—An ACT for the relief of Thomas M. Ellett, an old and needy
Confederate soldier.

Whereas T. M. Ellett, of Nottoway county, sixty-seven years old, a
member of company C, fifty-third Virginia regiment, Confederate states
army, Was a gallant Confederate soldier, true and lov al to Vi irgimia during
the war, and now poor and needy and ‘unable to make a support; there-
fore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the said
T. M. Ellett shall establish the above facts before ‘the county eourt of
Nottoway, and said court shall certify the same to the auditor of publie
accounts of Virginia, the said auditor shall place the name of T. M.
Elett on the pension list and pay him annually, commencing on the
first dav of April, nineteen hundred, the sum of thirty dollars.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
