Chap. 1115.—An ACT to authorize the justices of the peace of the city of
Danville to issue and try criminal warrants for offenses committed within
the corporate limits of said city, notwithstanding the presence of the mayor.
Approved March 7, 1900.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the justices
of the peace of the city of Danville be, and they are hereby, authorized
and empowered to issue and try warrants in criminal cases for offenses
of which they have general jurisdiction committed within the corporate
limits of said city, notwithstanding the presence of the mayor of such
city.
2. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act are hereby
pealed.
