Chap. 1103.—An ACT for the relief of A. H. Faulkner, a disabled Confed-
erate soldier.

Whereas A. H. Faulkner, of Mecklenburg county, Virginia, was a
eallant Contederate soldier, and served in the Prince dward troop,
turd Virginia cavalry, Confederate states army; and
Whereas the said A. H. Faulkner was discharged from service on
account of disease contracted during his said service, which now totally
disables him from manual labor; and
Whereas the said A. Il. Faulkner j is very old and infirm and is entirely
dependent on his own labor ax a means of livelihood; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virsinia, That upon
proof of the foregoing facts before the county court of Mecklenburg
county and the certificate of the same to the auditor of publie accounts,
the said auditor shall place the name of the said AL UL. Faulkner upon
the pension roll of this state, and pay iim the sum of fifteen dollars on
and after the first day of April, nineteen hundred,
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
