Chap. 1086.—An ACT for the relief of George A. King, a Confederate soldier,
of Floyd county.
Approved March 7, 1900.
Whereas George A. King, of Flovd county, Virginia, who was a true
and gallant Confederate soldier of Virginia, was loyal to Virginia; and
Whereas said George A. Wing is suffering from disease brought on by
exposure while in the service of Vi irginia during the war; and
Whereas said George A. Ning is very poor and dependent; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the county
court of Floyd county shall examine into the condition of the said George
A. King, and should it be that he was true and loval to Virginia throuch
the war, and that his infirmities result from exposure while in the dis-
charge of his duties as a soldier during the war, and if the county court
of Flovd should send a certificate of the facts to the auditor of public
accounts of Virainia, then the auditor of public accounts is directed to
place the name of George A. Ning on the pension list and pay him,
annually the sum of fifteen dollars on and after the first day of April,
nineteen hundred.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
